From the Caballero family farm. Marysabel inherited the farm from her father and combined this land with her husband Moises. Between them they have just under 200 hectares of farm land split into 17 farms and 1 central processing station.
This Catuaí variety is grown in clay like soil to combat the often wet and windy conditions in the region (Marcala) before being picked and processed naturally.
Year on year the Caballeros win more praise for their sustainability practices and commitment to soil improvements on the farms. Avocados, bananas and other fruits are grown at the farms, mainly for the cherry-pickers to eat, but also because biodiversity at the farms ensures better growing conditions and shade for the coffee trees.
