Quality focussed father and son team Alexis and Aime Gahizi own the Gitesi washing station in the western province of Rwanda and have worked for many years now to gain their excellent reputation of consistent high quality beans.
As well as quality, they are committed to aiding farmers and the community. By providing training, insurance and materials to the local area, small holder farmers can hone their craft.

These initiatives are invaluable when coffee farmers are usually paid so little- it means they can sustain a living.
Grown at altitudes of 1750-1800 metres above sea level this washed coffee is a red bourbon variety.
We get orange rind, brown sugar and mandarin notes.
